1. What are clear acrylic signs made from?
Our clear acrylic signs are made from durable 1/4″ clear plexiglass. The graphics are printed on the back of the acrylic, allowing the front face to protect the printed design.

2. How are the graphics printed on clear acrylic signs?
We use CMYK UV inks to print graphics directly onto the back of the clear acrylic. This produces a semi-transparent appearance while preserving the material’s natural clarity.

3. Will white areas in my artwork appear white?
No. This clear acrylic printing option does not include white ink or a white backing. White areas in submitted artwork will appear clear.

4. Are the printed colors opaque or transparent?
The CMYK inks appear semi-transparent on clear acrylic. The final appearance allows some light and background visibility through the printed areas.

5. Is the print protected from the front?
Yes. Because the graphics are printed on the back of the acrylic, the front acrylic face helps protect the print from direct contact and provides a smooth, glossy appearance.

6. Can I order a custom-size clear acrylic sign?
Yes. Custom sizes are available, making these signs suitable for different wall spaces, office displays, branded installations, and home décor projects.

7. Can clear acrylic signs be mounted to a wall?
Yes. Optional drilled holes and aluminum standoffs are available for mounting. Standoffs create space between the sign and the wall for a dimensional, professional presentation.

8. What are aluminum standoffs used for?
Aluminum standoffs are mounting hardware that hold the acrylic sign slightly away from the wall. They add depth and create a clean, contemporary display style.

9. Where can clear acrylic signs be used?

10. Should I include white elements in my artwork?
You can, but remember that white areas will appear clear rather than white. If your design requires opaque white graphics or more vibrant, solid colors, a white-backed acrylic option may be more suitable.
