Q: What file format should I send for my design?

A: PDF, PNG, AI, EPS, or TIFF all work perfectly. Just make sure your file is at 300 DPI or higher at the actual print size you need. If you’re unsure about your file, send it over and we’ll check it for you before printing.

Q: Why is the design printed on the back of the acrylic?

A: Printing on the back means the smooth glossy front of the acrylic acts like a permanent protective cover over your artwork. It keeps the print safe from scratches, dust, and moisture while also giving it that deep, glass-like appearance that makes it look so premium.

Q: What does the white ink backing do?

A: Since acrylic is clear, printing on it without a white base would make your colors look faded and see-through. The white ink layer sits behind your design and gives it a solid foundation, so every color comes out bold, vibrant, and exactly the way it looks on your screen.

Q: Will the colors match what I see on my screen?

A: They’ll be very close. That said, screens show color using light while printers use ink, so there can be slight differences. If your design has very specific brand colors, we recommend requesting a physical proof before we go ahead with full production — that way you know exactly what you’re getting.

Q: How do I hang the sign on the wall?

A: It’s simpler than it sounds. The holes are already drilled into the sign, and the chrome standoff hardware is included in the box. Just hold the sign up to the wall, mark the four hole positions, drill your anchors, thread in the standoff posts, slide the sign over them, and tighten the chrome caps. Most people are done in about 15 minutes.

Q: Can I use this sign outdoors?

A: These signs are designed for indoor use. Acrylic handles normal humidity fine, but long exposure to direct sunlight and extreme temperatures can eventually cause the material to yellow or warp over time. If you need something for an outdoor setting, get in touch and we can talk about outdoor-rated options.

Q: How do I clean the sign?

A: Use a soft microfiber cloth with a little isopropyl alcohol or a plastic-safe cleaner. Avoid anything abrasive or ammonia-based — Windex and similar glass cleaners can cloud the acrylic surface over time. The print itself is fully sealed behind the acrylic so there’s no risk of it wiping off.

Q: Do you offer custom sizes?

A: Yes. Our standard sizes are 16″×24″, 20″×30″, and 24″×36″, which are ready for fast production. If you need a different size, rounded corners, a unique shape, or cut-outs, just reach out and we’ll put together a custom quote for you.

Q: How long does production take?

A: Standard orders are ready in 3 to 5 business days after your artwork is approved. If you need it sooner, we offer rush production that can cut that down to 1 to 2 business days. Delivery time after that depends on your location and the shipping speed you choose.

A: Absolutely. The acrylic is non-toxic and BPA-free, and the UV inks we use are low-VOC and solvent-free. These signs are completely safe for any enclosed indoor space including offices, clinics, schools, and studios.
